Simple deli with imported Italian goodies. It seemed family owned and like they had regulars. Really nice people and community vibe. There are many sandwiches to choose or you can make your own. We got one muffuletta and one turkey bacon with pesto, mayo, cheese, and veggies. The gardenia on the muffuletta was delicious! Tangy, flavorful, and chunky. We tried the sourdough roll and it absorbed the gardenia juice really well and not soggy. The turkey was loaded! We got the Dutch crunch bread. Both were very good, bread was amazing I could just eat the roll. I can’t wait to go back.
Very kind and friendly people, family owned . They have the best breads - tried wheat snd Dutch crunch with garlic smoked turkey and a vegetable sandwich. Also tried their minestrone soup one of the best tasting ever, the sandwich size is huge. Our new favorite place to drive from Livermore just for a sandwich
Stopped by to try out their “garlic herb turkey sandwich”, it was delicious and fresh. It felt a bit dry like it could’ve used a little more mayo and mustard but it’s not the end of the world. The service was absolutely fantastic. Very attentive staff and welcoming. Quick service and quality food. Highly recommend.
This deli has been operating since 1988 and after living in the general area for a while this weekend was our first visit. I really wish we stumbled upon this deli years ago. We arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday and found a line that moved quickly. Great service from what seemed to be a truly family run business. The quality of the sandwiches were great. Fresh produce and delicious deli meat and cheese. The portions are generous and you get tremendous value for your dollar.
Incredibly tasty. Everyone is super kind and the food is always fresh. Love coming here.
OMG best deli I've had in years. Super nice people and they really care, so it shows in what they do. Meatballs were so close to grandma's, I would have trouble telling them apart. On the turkey & honey ham, it has lettuce, tomato, pickles, pepperocini's and very thin smokey cheddar on dry sourdough roll. On the turkey it was mayo, lettuce & tomato on sliced white rye (I think it was rye but could be wrong). Small dining area so you might not get a seat.
This location must be a hidden gem. I just really wanted a sandwich and this one was across the street. The sandwich itself was simple but so good! I was impressed and now nothing can top it. I guess I'll have to drive all the way back to california just to try it again.
